Schubert Club Music Museum

FamilyJam is a new free program for kids and families at the Schubert Club Music Museum in St. Paul's Landmark Center whichcomprises short 25-30 minute concerts followed by Music Museum activities, including hands-on instrument playing, instrumentdemonstrations and musician meet and greets. All FamilyJam concerts and Music Museum admission are free. Registration isrequired.

It’s not *just* food (though that is certainly going to be plentiful). What can you do with your kids besides eating? Saturday’s noon concert is family-favorite Koo Koo. There’s also a Family Fun Area rife with performers, inflatables, face painters, puppies to meet and even a zip line. July 6 & 7, 2024, 11am-8pm. FREE admission.

Featured Minneapolis wading pool: Waite Park

Minneapolis wading poolsare fun, free and some are splashy and elaborate. Find our complete list at the link. This weekend we’re highlighting the wading pool at WAITE PARK.The pool is a zero-entry style with a splash-pad type water sprayer on the shallow end. 1810 34th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418.

Featured Twin Cities beach: Wirth Lake Beach, Minneapolis

We discovered the terrific WIRTH LAKE BEACH last summer and immediately rewarded it with a place on our list of the BEST BEACHES IN THE TWIN CITIES to visit this summer. Sandy, smooth and clean, this beach is one of our favorites in Minneapolis. There’s a large playground and Park & Rec often drops by with activities for kids. Swimming pools are always a hit for their slides and fun features. Have you tried COMO REGIONAL PARK POOL in St Paul yet? There’s a great splashy area for toddlers, a lazy river, climbing plunge and an exciting zip line! 1151 Wynne Ave, St Paul, MN 55108.

Don’t forget that splash pads are a perfect place to cool off without the full investment of a day at the pool. This week we highlight the splash pad at HUSET PARK WEST in Columbia Heights.
