Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup Organic peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cups whole wheat flour, or more, as needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat; set aside.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat pumpkin puree, peanut butter and eggs on medium-high until well combined, about 1-2 minutes. Gradually add 2 1/2 cups flour at low speed, beating just until incorporated. Add an additional 1/4 cup flour at a time just until the dough is no longer sticky.
- Working on a lightly floured surface, knead the dough 3-4 times until it comes together. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Using cookie cutters, cut out desired shapes and place onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Place into oven and bake until the edges are golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.*
- Let cool completely.
Crunchy Honey Cinnamon Dog Biscuits
Ingredients:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375 and lightly grease a couple of baking sheets.
2. In a large mixing bowl, add the oil, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, milk and egg. Once you’ve got that mixed, stir in the flour and baking powder. Mix until a dough forms.
3. On a lightly floured surface, dump out the contents of the bowl and then knead it until all of the ingredients are incorporated and it can be spread using a rolling pin. Roll the dough out to about a 1/4″ thickness and then either cut using cookie cutters or a pizza cutter.
4. Place the uncooked biscuits on your baking sheets and bake for 13-15 minutes.

Ingredients:
3 lb. protein (pork, chicken, turkey or beef)
1 c. cooked green beans or peas
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 c. cooked brown rice
Directions:
1. Cut the meat you’re using into bite-sized pieces and saute over medium heat until no longer pink.
2. In a large bowl, stir together the meat and cheddar cheese. Let it cool.
3. Once cool, add the rice and veggies and mix it all together.

Small dogs: A portion is about 3/4 cup
Medium dogs: 1 1/2 cups
Large dogs: 3 cups

BIRTHDAY BONES
These cookies are great for your favorite furry friend. Everydog I have given these to loves them. It is nice to use doggie type cookiecutters, like bones or fire hydrants
Makes 18 Dog Treats
2 Cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 cup of OrganicPeanut Butter
1 Cup Skim Milk
Directions
1.
Preheat the oven to 375degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Stir together the flour andbaking powder; set aside.
2.
In a medium bowl, mixtogether the peanut butter and milk. Stir in the flour mixture until wellblended. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into shapes using cookie cutters. Place2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.
3.
Bake for 20 minutes inthe preheated oven, or until lightly brown. Remove from cookie sheets to coolon wire racks.
